Scaling objects

Scaling an object enlarges or reduces the object horizontally, vertically, or both ways. You can scale an object by dragging.

To scale a selected object:

1	Display the transform handles:
	Choose the Scale Transform tool.
	Choose Modify > Transform > Scale.
2	Drag the transform handles:
	To scale the object both horizontally and vertically, drag one of the corner handles. Proportions are constrained as you scale.
	To scale the object horizontally or vertically, drag a center handle.
